About Toolwise
Toolwise is a growing collection of 127+ free tools for 16 professions, built to take the busywork out of everyday tasks.
Why we built it
Toolwise started with a single problem: reconciling bank statements against the ledger took an accounts team days every month. We built a tool that does it in minutes, and then kept going. Every profession has tasks like that: drafting the first version of a document, checking a calculation, turning notes into something presentable.
Our tools are built around how professionals actually work. Each one asks only for what it needs, explains its result, and tells you clearly when something needs a human check.
How the tools work
- Calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- AI tools use Claude, a large language model by Anthropic, to draft and explain. Your input is sent to the model for that request only and is not stored by us.
- Apps such as bank reconciliation process your files in memory on our server and delete them as soon as the result is ready.
Our principles
- Free to use, supported by advertising.
- Calculators need no sign-up at all; AI tools just need a verified email. Your tool inputs are never kept.
- Honest about limits: AI output is a draft for you to review, not professional advice.
